The Great Blasket Islands hosts a large colony of Seals. Seals are naturally curious creatures and therefore, with a good camera, it should be relatively easy to get some excellent pictures of them in their proper habitat.
On our trip you could potentially see one of the biggest colony of Seals in Ireland
Seals are amazing creatures. Seals’ thick fur and blubber offer protection against freezing temperatures.
Seals produce milk with 50% fats. Their babies gain 3-5 pounds daily thanks to milk.
Seal can hold its breath for 2 hours which is a record in the animal world.
Their worst enemies are orca, white bears and sharks.

Puffins visit the West Coast of Ireland between March and July each year.
Puffins spend most of their lives out at sea, resting on the waves when not swimming. Their range spans the eastern coast of Canada and the United States to the western coast of Europe.
